Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans are Medicare-approved plans provided by private insurance companies. These plans must offer at least the same benefits as Original Medicare. Humana’s plans offer many additional services.
Humana offers three kinds of Medicare Advantage plans – Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO).
Individuals eligible for Medicare are also eligible for prescription drug coverage. Most people get Part D benefits by enrolling in a prescription drug plan.
