Member Guidance
If you’re a new or renewing Humana plan member, your employer may have asked Humana to mail you a member guide. The kit includes a “Getting Started Guide” and other items specific to your plan.
Please note: Due to plan differences, your employer must have 100+ employees to receive this kit. Another version of the member guide is sent to small business employees. Check back soon for the small business version to be available for reference. |

The member guide shows how easy it is to manage your health benefits and expenses – and get more from your Humana plan.
Kit Contents
The member guide kit includes the “Getting Started Guide” and the following items:
- Personalized folder for storing your guide, plan documents, financial records, and medical information
- How-to’s of registering for MyHumana – and what’s in it for you
- Guidance on using your plan and any spending accounts you may have chosen
- Tips on managing your medications, monitoring your healthcare costs, and getting the most from your plan
- Highlights of online tools for tracking and managing health expenses
These programs and tools are not insurance products and are not guaranteed under any contract. Humana is not required to provide these services, but makes them available to eligible members at no additional cost.
